MR Millenium Falcon

Can't believe there's no payment plan. MR is releasing too many items too close together. Imagine those who wanted the Enterprise and the Falcon. I ordered the Boba blaster, then they came out with the Solo EE, which is still available. We have various other items on the horizon. (Fett and Stormie helmets, Vader ROTJ saber) I think that without a payment plan at least for items over $1000.00 MR is going to end up with a lot of stuff sitting in their warehouse.

Looks great. I just wish they'd give us a little more warning with these huge ticket items.

I just joined the Collector's Society tonight. How do the coupons come? Will I get them in an e-mail, will they show up when I place an order, or must I await their coming in snail mail? Thanks.

The coupons are online. Go to the MR website and click my account. After you log in you should see a page with all the codes on it.

Thanks. My account must not be active yet. All I see is a link to a page of past orders.

I hate how they do it. You log in the first time and it shows your coupons. Then you click my account again to get to your order history. It's kinda redundant. Your account may not be active yet, but try logging completely out nd going back in.

>>Crap. Five days to figure out a way to win the lottery<< Maybe I'll be lucky this weekend at the casino.....Will be waiting to see what kind of dealer specials will be offered.

With a low edition size of only 500 pieces, this Signature Edition is sure to become one of the most sought after Star Wars collectibles of all time.
$2799

I'll take that bet. :rolleyes

It is a really outstanding piece and my hats off to all involved. Now having said that.....

MR really needs to get the payment plan they have talked about for years now in place. We are about to go into yet another year were all the big ticket items are going to pile up within a few months of each other either before or after the holiday season.

I donÂ’t know about the rest of you but that is the time of the year when all the disposable income has been disposed of. :cry

Well, that's rather my point.

A collectors dollars are indeed, discretionary dollars.

This is a tough nut to crack for any collector and while the model is amazing I think we can reach a point where things become too big and too grand. Just because you can make it, should you?.

When you get close to the 3 large mark I think people start seeing vacations, used cars, plastic surgery, you get the idea. I bet that things gonna cause a divorce or two. Boob jobs cost less and you can make payments. :p

Sure, you'll get a few buyers who appreciate your efforts but what good is it if the masses just sit back going, "Cool, wish I could afford it."

Sales 101: You'll sell more Fords than Cadillacs.

It's a great looking piece though...

I got it that time. Thanks for the tip.

BTW, MR doesn't hit your credit card when you order, right? I.e., you have until right before First Flight to get the card pumped up with the requisite cash...?

If you're drooling now...be sure and take a look at those Rebelscum picts. The cockpit and lighting...WOW~

Saw them... VERY cool. Will the production run feature that much detail as this?

I have about 1700.00 saved up and 100 off with the coupon. Can you add more tham one coupon for the Falcon, will the MR dealers here be offering it any chaeper :love

Right. They'll send you an email before saying they're going to ship/charge your card.

This looks amazing from the pics. I would go the extra cash for one but I imagine UK shipping will definitely push it beyond my reach.

Unless MR can come up with a good international shipping and payment plan I will unfortunately have to miss out.

Chris.

F'it. I'm buying it. Harry Ford signature edition too. And yup, he's still a star. ;) Hopefully it doesn't sell out to fast. :(

I don't have any cool Star Wars stuff now - actually, I have nothing at all. I've spent more in a year on freakin' action figures and other stuff (that I sold for practically nothing), so why not something that'll stop people in their tracks. Not to mention it's something I've always wanted... A beautiful SS scale model from ANH. And I can't think of anything cooler than my favourite bucket o' bolts.

I'm only getting "cool" stuff now - streamlined is the only way to go. :) And I can imagine this will be something that'll make me go, "****, that's cool..." every morning. Actually, every time I look at it.

The price isn't bad at all... Funny how nobody blinks an eye at paying close to 1K for an unfinished Vader lid; so why not something that is just so damn cool. And yup, I'm in love with it. :lol

I have to agree this will become one of those holy grail items, the se will one day go for probably double the retail (just for the fact of Mr Fords reluctance to sign SW items)

I wonder what it would be with shipping to the uk LOL
