thanks..i would make my biceps a little smaller other than that i think it came out good...i well be redoing my helmet for the mk 1.. its small..i went with 1.69 with the upper torso on it..all scales were different..its not like yours that are the same number..lol..

Perfect, thanks. The details seem to be in the same scale as the chest so in theory I should be able to scale them to the same size without any problems.

I'll definitely be posting up my motorization process as it happens. At the bare minimum I am going to do the head tracked shoulder gun before D*C. 80 days!

oh...lol..thought you meant my suit..well i used 1.44..it fits tight and it does look small if you look at it right..i will be making a new one before bondo stage....it was my first pep..so I'm keeping it making acenter piece out of it..

Hey everyone!

Ever since this past IM3 trailer was released, I started to love the new Iron Patriot (War Machine) suit more and more. So after figuring out how to do it and gathering all of the pictures i could find, i decided to start making the new War Machine's pep files for everyone!

Here are Teragon's Eye and Arc reactor 3D models that are ready for 3D printing. The only thing you have to do before 3D printing any of the files is to make sure the file is scaled to fit in your own personal Iron Patriot suit If not, youll have to scale it to fit

I dont have too many reference pictures to work with and it could be that later on as better pictures and videos are released, my files may not be as screen accurate as they can be, so i may have to go back later on and fix up the 3D models to be more accurate, but ill do my best for now

Well I just dropped nearly a buck fiddy on servo and Arduino components. I should get all of this shipped within the next week or so. I am working on a neater part list spreadsheet that, once I've got everything together, I'll probably post it up. Me and laellee are discussing cannon builds and code. I would like to release any Arduino code I (we?) write on github or something under Creative Commons. I doubt there will ever be such a thing as a one stop tutorial for building something like this, but I definitely hope to contribute.

I got the chest mostly finished (the Ultron chest too, actually) - ******** the Patriot fits so much nicer than the War Machine. I've been holding off on printing parts, I had to design an enclosure for the 3D printer I've been using since it prints in ABS and has been having major issues being open air. Once that gets running, I'm going to be printing a boat load of cannon and detail parts.

Until then, waiting and more cutting foam.

Hi, everyone again. I've just wanted to share my current IM2 progress.

And i have a question - how you join arms to the chest\shoudler? I've tried join them with screws, but with this tactics it was pretty uncomfortable to move.:facepalm

Take a look at the link above, post #438. That's what I did to measure upper and lower torso, and it worked pretty well.

I haven't been around in a a few months. it feels like years. I have been so busy with school and work i have not had anytime to work on anything!! as soon as school is done in September, i will be able to work on projects again.

I worked with TheRealStark and he helped me develop the cannon i have on my IP suit. Here is a link to what i did.

Im working on a newer design, or at least i was until i got really busy with school. Here is a link to the video. I plan on sending out the new 3d printed parts to be plated so they will be a lot stronger. When i wore it to the theater, the servos were so powerful, it snapped a key piece and i had to remove the entire assembly.

Is your Arduino sketch available anywhere? Your gun (and a lot of guns I see) are super jittery, and I am pretty positive it's because of how it's programmed. If your sketch is anything like the Predator ones I've seen around, they aren't doing any sort of movement smoothing or movement prediction. I am less worried about latency between two gyros because I am not planning on doing a 1:1 translation of gyro input to servo movement. I think there needs to be more interpretation to make it outcome really shine.
