Guardians of the Galaxy Chris Pratt Star-Lord Costume Build (pic heavy)

Well I haven't posted here in a while and figured I'd post some better pictures of my costume as it is for now. I've been looking into the trench coat, sling bag, and orb but I'm in my senior year of high school right now so progress of any kind will be slow for a while.

Hey! Quick question. How long was the shipping for you to get Davy's mask?
Everything is looking 10/10, this is suuuuch a great guide. Thanks a bunch :)

Quick trench coat update, the back is almost done. I also started a new helmet as a backup in case I don't have time to paint Davy's cast when it arrives.

Anyone had any luck or even tried looking for Young Quill's vintage t shirt from the opening scene?

Text is as follows:

RIVER RAFT
(graphic)
J.D. Canoe Rentals
Dolores River

Appears to be one of those weird trends of the 80s, random subject t shirts either from real stores or fabricated.

The correct is RIVER RAFT
or RIVER RAFTER ?
or RIVER RAFTING?

I'm new but excited to be here, loving the creativity :) I was asked to make the jacket depicted in the 'rude gesture' scene but real leather is out of our price-range and faux leather deteriorates too quickly so I'm getting some fabric digitally printed. I've only just ordered my prints so I have nothing to show yet, but here's the fabric I designed and some info on how I plan to go about it.

In the early 1900s, brown leather flight jackets were worn by aviators and
members of the military. During the Second World War, they became known as "
bomber jackets" and were heavily insulated and prized for their warmth.

The jacket was often part of an overall uniform ensemble meant to protect
bomber pilots from exposure to the extreme climate conditions found at high altitude,
and sometimes incorporated sheepskin, using the intact fleece on the inside for warmth.
