Good armature? / sculpting tips?

What do you guys use for armatures/what would you guys reccomend. I'm having trouble finding anything but the wire armatures, besides this.

I have a feeling thats the best I'll get, but looking at others just in case.

I've never sculpted before but I feel I could mess around with it, I'm going to go with chavant J525. Any reccomendations on what tools to get and etc.?

The best resource I've found for sculpting techniques including how to build an armature (and even the moulding/casting process) are the John Brown sculpting DVD's. you can find them over at the Gnomon Workshop http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/groups/sculpture_g.html

I've used them myself and they are brilliant. Very detailed and interesting to watch.

I also offer Full head Sculpting Armatures and the Diameter of the Head/Brow is 24inches
