After a short pause to finish other projects I've returned to my Serenity.

I put two thin coats of silver on the ship today and started masking off part for blue paint.

All I can say is holy crap! This just may get me into models for the first time since I was a kid. This ship is amazing and your paper version is better than kits I have seen (I know that you didn't design it, but the execution is amazing).

Thanks everyone.

I've painted the solar panels and done other details in blue and red and brown paint. I'm using screencaps from the movie as a reference. The ships in the series and the movie are slightly different.

And here I'm masking parts of the tail for airbrushing with black paint.

Thanks. No, there won't be any lights on it, because I haven't really thought about it when I started building it and I don't have any holes prepared.

I've been doing a whole lot of painting the last two days and it shows.

I'll put a dark wash over it, drybrush some silver accents and paint both Serenity logos and that should finish the paintjob, unless I decide to change something.
And than it's on to windows.
Constructive criticism on the paintjob is very welcome. The last attachment is what I'm going for.
