will fit a 24" head no problems at all, though I can't say about visor interference yet

From my experience 23.5" is about average for an adult male head as that's what most helmets and cowls are made to. So 24" isn't that big?

24" around the circumference of the widest part of the head is the usual way to measure.

Not huge at all, in fact to hold it, it seems quite small, there is also no padding in this helmet which is something to consider.

UPDATE
Here are some photos showing the now primed badge just tacked on. More to follow in a few minutes, its quite dark here today, difficult to get good clear shots.
