So my core i5 laptop cannot handle converting to PDF when printing from the pepakura program. With Darkside's permission, would someone be able to please email me a PDF of the helmet so I can bring it to a printing place? Also, any recommendations for a store? Kinkos?
My head is about 23-34 inches around. This will be my very first pep build, so I am okay with it being a practice piece. Would I be better off with going with a mark 3 helmet? I have no idea if the other versions of the helmet would be easier on a beginner.

Hi LannyJack, on the first page of this thread there is a tester helmet so you can get a scale for your head without doing a full scale build. It's underneath a picture of the helmet and is called the 'Sharkmark tester file'

Colour wise I think the new suit looks pretty cool. I didn't like it at first but it has grown on me :love

If you are talking about the V1 suit files then you can change the scale yourself. If you don't have the password then send me a PM to get one.
If you mean the V2 helmet then that scale would take up a whole room (that may be a little bit of an exaggeration).
There is a whole other thread about the color scheme of the new suit and some people have Photoshopped some very cool alternative color schemes.

You can use robo3687's files for the neckseal and the brace. Darkside used the same scale so there's no problem.

I love photos...
You have made some pretty good progress there and everything is looking good. You may have to modify the forearms/handplate a little to get it to fit like that... right now the forearm on your dummy seems a little long.

Thanks! I built the dummy fairly quick. The arms are the only thing I didnt measure. On me they fit fine minus the bicep. still need to cut the inner side of the biceps to fit right.

Been reading up on this forum for sometime now and Darkside was awesome to share the password so I can re-size some of the pieces. the helmet I made unfortunately got crushed.
luckily the gauntlet and handplate were stored somewhere else

this is my first pep project and got a feeling that its going to be a wild ride for me.
Zabana's gloves scares the crap out of me, still going through the re-sizing stage for that one.
I just printed out the chest piece and decided to get a silhouette cutter, should be here in a week or two. Wife likes to make her own holiday cards so I was able to "justify" buying one.

A small update: the brace and the neckseal (file from DancingFool) are done. The shoulders were already finished!

hey DevilFlash the neck brace looks really good but if you want to be more accurate you can find the mark VII neck files made by EyeofSauron on page 45 that's what I'm using for my build :cheers

Thanks! I'll give it a try! I still have to decide if I make a rubber cast of the neck or keep it in fiberglass.
Does anyone have any thought about where to begin the back? First the spine then go right and left? Make it in 3 parts then glue them together?
