Thanks joberg and postmanpat! Obi Wan is almost finished so thought I'd share a few more pics. I have posted more wip of this sculpt than the others as it was not only a lengthier process than the others because of all the extra detailing involved in the face, but also because Alec Guinness had such a great face with loads of character..... which is always good for a sculptor!

Ben seems to be your best one followed by Leia.
About that Han, there's something about his jaw that gives him a Christian Bale look .. Not sure! Still beautiful though!
I was shocked to see the scale .. I really thought they were full scale!!!

Thanks for the comments and feedback guys! Here are some pics showing the recently finished and painted Obi Wan Kenobi bust. It was a mission to get this one completed but a great pleasure to bring life to such a great character again, in some small (1/5) way. I did put a very subtle facial expression on this one and I hope it comes across well in these photos.
Enjoy the pics of Old Ben. It's bye to the rebels for now .....for all those Peter Cushing fans out there, Grand Moff Tarkin is next!

Thanks guys! This bust is going to end up with some serious detail work on the face and I'm looking forward to getting to the stage where the fine wrinkles and skin textures are added. Here's the progress so far...

Simply amazing!
I must say though - I do prefer the none painted busts over the painted ones, I'm not sure why, but the painted versions lacks the depth and feeling of the sculpt... But maybe it's just me. :$

Every single time I check this thread I leave speechless. Just simply stunning work.
I'd love to get my hands on one of these to paint up eventually. Any plans on offering them in the future?

Thanks guys! I may end up experimenting with a couple of bronze type finishes on these busts when they are all finalized, to see how they would look . Thanks for your interest in these pieces becoming available Mr Mold Maker. At the moment I'm just concentrating on getting them done, as well as a few other sculpts also in the works, but I will post updates if there are any developments as far as that goes.
