Almost Human

The P90s were actually somewhat stripped down from Underworld Awakening. The front section shells and the grenade launcher were removed but you can see the cosmetic cover over the magazine is still there... the part that has "Police" on it. Some added details for AH were added. But, the build originated from Awakening first. These are real firing P90s with choked barrels to cycle blanks.

and thank you for making the corrections to IMFDB.

As for pics of the gun......

It's interesting that those P90s are real weapons, as the Evike Terminator custom airsoft gun looks almost identical and predates Almost Human. I was going to wonder if the airsoft guns were inspired by the Underworld ones, but I looked those up and so many pieces were stripped off that they're almost completely different weapons.

Did you take any inspiration from the Terminator, or was it dumb luck?

Urban and Ealy are occasionally OK with their support-hand grip, but it bugs me that in every other shot, they're practically tea-cupping. They're cops; they should understand the importance of a consistent firing grip.

Very good (just need to get that firing-hand thumb up):

Tea time! :facepalm

Well, he IS a Kiwi. They take tea, right?

Oh snap!.... someone posted the keys to the castle. Well, now you guys don't need any pics from me. There ya go. Thanks a lot... Mike J!.... and your damn F@cking "IMAX" screen grabs! :)

Oh.... and no one has figured out, as of yet, all the "hidden" details I put into the gun. Good luck.

Well.... kind of sort of. That number definitely means something. But its special meaning is meant for a friend, from the show, and asked me to put on the gun after my "KCP". So, that's one detail I won't give out.... special meaning... not my place. But, I'll give you cudos for that. Obviously, KCP stands for Kenney's Custom Props.

I guess we'll have to wait for Mike J to save the day and post better pics. LOL

Oh but we do...these are action shots taken from the show.

I for one would really like to see good close ups of the guns BY THEMSELVES: stills take on the bench as it were.

With no hands and flat not at an angle.

The ones only you can provide.

What I posted were the best caps I could get from the hostage episode - if there are better shots of the guns in a later episode, let me know.

I was just watching a small marathon of this on Hulu the other day and my son was "shooting the bad guys" with my old airsoft M92 and was wondering if anyone made kits that I could convert it into a Kennex gun.

Thanks, Kenny :) Looking forward to the next episode tomorrow night!

And a quick thank you to Chrisisall for the virtual hug. In all the months I've had that as my subtitle, you are the first.

kcpstudio, why did they not just use the Nick Fury pistol, as they already had it on hand. Not that I'm saying that they shouldn't have hired you to make a new one.

David.

The thing was beat, it was missing that certain "look" for the character... it did not have a lot of the details I added which fit in for the time period etc. The Nick Fury gun has a blue acrylic rod in the lower front section of the gun which you really don't see in the pilot. That worked for that show (Nick Fury) years back but wouldn't for this. It was OK for the scene we used it for. Plus, would you give your lead actor that to use? LOL Not, when you're going to have close ups all the time. When I get a chance, I'll pull some pics of the Nick Fury gun and post them. Then you'll see what I'm talking about.
