With the notable exception of the collapsible blades that doesn't look half bad, still not crazy about the design in general but the execution of the toy looks pretty good. Of course, I'm sure it will look different in person but by itself like that with nothing for scale it looks pretty good, the non-blade parts of look like they might be good enough to be used with a couple of better blades attached to them for costuming purposes.

It's not like Boba/Jango were all that armored, just a few small plates on the chest, a larger one on the back, then a small plate on each shoulder, and a little armor on the forearms and knees, not all that much more than a modern day infantryman. She may be lightly armored compared to a Stormtrooper but compared to most Mandos she's about par for course or maybe a tad lighter but certainly a whole lot more armored than any of her companions.

The Kaminoans produced Boba, and his lineage is traced to Jango. And the only canon info that exists about Jango is from TCW. On Mandalore, the Prime Minister Almec dismissed him as a mere bounty hunter who had obtained Mandalorian armor via unknown means.

It's also the way it looks with this animation, I like the character just fine my self, I can Imagine that the knee parts for instance are a bit too small looking, but I guess that's the animation style, we haven't seen her in action yet, I'm looking forward to her Grafitti stuff
Correct, the only canonical backstory for Jango Fett was the he was NOT a Mando.
He wasn't born on Mandalore, but he was adopted by a Mandalorian, which makes him Mandalorian. That may not mean anything now if the EU is bulldozed though.
One thing to consider too is that the armor may be more for frag protection then actually getting shot,and really the Stormtroopers aren't so blaster proof ether as they get shot left and right in any SW show......

Interesting thought although I'd say that it would do a rather lousy job as a flak jacket considering how little it covers. It would work a little better protecting her against blasters since it covers her center of mass, that's assuming, of course, that the plates are actually blaster prop or at least blaster resistant even if we've little to nothing that actually is as far as personal body armor is concerned.

It doesn't mean anything in regards to what is actual SW canon, it does from a hey this is fun standpoint, however.
