Blade Runner Deckard Blaster from toy gun

You have probably seen this toy around. My kid bought it on a local fair...so I went back and got another two ;) Its a simple 5$ gun with decent light and sound fx. Obviously it's a loose interpretation of THE blaster but looks similar and is fun to play with :)

So here are some pictures from the WIP. Removing fe details, covering others and adding some weight.

Then it was time to cover the chamber. Some styrene 2 and 4 did the job. Added some mock up painting to see how it looks so far.

First trigger guard was bit too short and I decided to go with one curved on both ends. Also used the cut offs from the guard to make second trigger.

That's so far. I'd like to mask all the screw holes but since tehre is some wires inside I might want to be able to take it apart some day...not decided yet.

Cheers

Mat

I modded one of these a while back but I neglected to replace the trigger guard and add the second trigger.
Looking at this, I can see how much it adds to the build.

Just finish two. The one with the weathered receiver and single trigger is for my friends son, the black one I may sell.

Starting off with a $5 dollar gun you did exceptionally well. My only suggestion would be to fill in the screw holes as others have suggested as well. Would be prefect for cosplay
