Hi All,

Recipe

Troopers - are from Hasbro and I put them into the pose's I liked and then superglued the joints and then puttied the in.

Base - Started on the Palm tree for the 6" BS Shoretroopers. The trunk is a piece of card board tube with string wrapped around it and then tissue paper wrapped around and then soaked using diluted PVA glue. The palm leaves are pieces of paper cut out then painted and then washes added to them. The pipes/hoses ate just old electrical cord cut to size and then glued in place, the tarmac is a piece of cardboard and then I painted it and the FOD lines with Vallejo paints.

The sand was done by mixing sand/spakfilla/paint and a little water together and then it was spread over the bases. The foliage was done using plastic plants from a craft store, plastic plants from JoeFix Studios and tufts of grass from Army Painter

Ron

Not only are the figures beautifully done, but the groundwork and natural elements are really superb, they look real, and that's a hard thing to do, and you nailed it!! Very inspirational stuff, reminds me of my old military miniature days, please keep posting more of these!

Thanks heaps mcusanelli and I was a old time military modeller/diorama builder as well and was very lucky to have my dad teach me to how to make things look real and then when I got older I added my own technics to what he taught me.

Looks great. Did you do any weathering to the 6" BS figures?

Cheers R three, I did weather and paint them as they looked to clean out of the box. The figures are awesome they just lack a good paint job.
