There was a Japanese model kit (for a different gun, not Avatar) built on a gas powered Tanaka M29 airsoft that included instructions for modifying the revolver to function as a break-two design, the key being that the Tanaka held the gas reservoir in the cylinder rather than the grip. Hypothetically speaking you could apply the same design priniciples to this and I think it would be possible to build an "idealized" version of the gun with the proper action as intended by the design, but never actually achieved on the prop. Could be an interesting discussion.
Regardless, I agree that the 'Wesson' version looks better and cleaner than the 'Ruger' version of the prop.
