DT-29 (Krennics' blaster)- Scratch built

Hi,
I'm working on the Krennic cosplay for the con next week... This doesn't sound serious enough, let's try again!
I'm currently working on almost-a-screen-accurate replica of the Imperial uniform worn by Director Krennic in Rogue One. That's it! Anyway, today I finished the blaster.
After I sent countless mails to the 3D printing service providers, and after I was either turned down or the prices were ridiculously high, I decided to do the whole thing from scratch (a.k.a. the fun way).

Instead of writing the whole process here, I'll let the photos tell the story.
In short, I used MDF, sintra, wood, some metal parts and FIMO. It took me roughly a week to do it.
