Hopefully, someone from Moebius will be at Wonderfest and can clear things up. Even better, hopefully someone from Moebius will announce, "Next spring we'll be releasing a 1/144 Aries with full interior."
As show below, I will have the Kaiyodo Discovery on display. Dave Hodge has graciously given me a space in the second display room for this. 1600mm (about 63 inches) 1/96 Discovery kit that will be available towards the end of the year. This is being imported by me personally, so it should be available anywhere you get kits. Moebius will be carrying it of course, and I'm sure you will have no problem with finding. But... as with most large Japanese kits it will be on the pricey side. But form what we've seen well worth it
But this is the first 3D print of it. It is not a prototype even, just a very basic print. Painted and assembled of course, but Kaiyodo tells me it is rough. Looks great in my opinion!
I don't know if it clears thing up, but Moebius shared this post about Kaiyodo's kit, that is on display at Wonderfest:

63" long!
Thanks Edge. Man, I'd love to have that kit, but my wife just got me the Moebius for my birthday and I don't think I have room (or money) in my life for two Discovery kits. I'm happy with the quality of the Moebius, but it's amazing to see the sharpness that Japanese manufacturers like Kaiyodo and Bandai can get in their kits that American companies just can't seem to do.
There is a difference between a commercial kit and an expensive collector's item.
