I worked from the reference printed in the SWTFA book and with the person commissioning it for their costume. I kind of have a thing for hexagons and tend to work them into my props.
I vaccuformed the shell from ABS. The mask is an aluminum mesh thats been covered in leather. The sort of 'fin' the wraps around the back is some unusually thick leather thats pretty rigid. And the receding hexagons on the top are varying thicknesses of leather that get thinner the further they travel back.
Anyway, thought I would share. Its been a project thats been kicking around for a few months now but I've probably got about 40 hours into it. Hope you all like it
