So I'll be making my own Kylo Ren costume for a con I'm attending in October next year.
I'm 17, so I'm not really experienced in costume-making but I found a handy guide which will definitely help and maybe I'll find some cool tips here too.
My plan was to make the costume itself based on this guide. I already have leather gloves and I'll probably have no trouble finding black boots either.
For the belt I plan on getting a wide black leather belt and buy this so I can attach it.
For the helmet I was thinking about getting the Black Series helmet. They're pretty expensive now so I'll wait and see if they get cheaper when they actually come out. If they don't I don't know what I should do yet. The other helmets just aren't good enough.
