Possible examples of the ampules...
I'm thinking more plastic (bottom) than glass (top). In a physical/tactical situation, the plastic is less likely to break under stress, more likely to flex. The design of the medpack seems to lend itself to the syringe set up, as the bottom is long enough to accommodate the shears. OR, an ampule set up does make sense, as you can get at least four ampules in the place of two syringes.
Anyway, just my thoughts...
