Death Star Turret part map and parts run

Missing pieces!
missing3.jpg

The 2. on the Fruehauf part is not the right one. That one from the Panther is too big. Shape is a tad different as well.

Not seen on the pic, but 206. has a Panther G part stuck to it on the reverse side, i.e. 94.

Oh, and JD1, thanx for the Ripmax name. I couldn't remember it. I have no idea if it was available back then in the US as well.

Thanks!

Some of the ladder rungs at least is a ladder! We had a theory it was cut from a ladder (you can see the nipper marks in addition to the seam line), and Craig confirmed it's the Ladder Chief, 1/25th AMT. However, he also said not all the rungs are the same, so we're looking for other ladder bits as well. I have a Ladder Pumper and a Chief inbound for casting!

The rungs on the right (starboard) side of the turret have circular rod on each end. The rungs on the port side of the turret have square rod on each end.

Btw, looking at pics of the Ladder Chief (great find btw), i see it also has parts which are similar to the walkway (with tear pattern on top). The Bandai 1/15 kits have a different pattern on it, so i don't think those are correct. Is the Ladder Chief used for this part as well ? Im talking about part 38 on your list. I don't have the kit on hand, so cannot check if it's correct.

Cheers,
Wasili

Here's a pic of the AMT 1/25 Custom Pumper you mentioned. Ladders with square sides. Even though it's just a drawing, i'm getting happy here. :)

My kits are inbound, I will let you know! Yeah, Ed Minto suggested it to me, and of course, his instincts were perfectly bang on :)

Getting there! Have about 95% of the parts on hand now. Have to clip from 6 more kits that arrived yesterday, then I can send the whole lot (wave 2) to the caster! He should have the "first wave" of kits I sent, today! Many thanks to Craig, who lent me the parts from kits I didn't have on-hand (and that were not on eBay at the moment!). His stuff is on the right - check out the Droid Strip!! Amazing!

(I spent a couple hours trimming the gears down for both gun boxes, and then Craig's part arrived yesterday, LOL! So I don't need it, but it was definitely one of those "I wish I had a V8!" moments where I slapped my head for duplicating the work, lol!

Jason, you are machine !
Guys who are involved in this project, you are awesome,
thank you to make this possible !!!

Awesome stuff here! I like how the ladder rungs of the turret are actually from a ladder too. I'll try to help ID the remaining bits. Any bits you might need for casting still Jason? I've collected most of what was already known.

Hey Jason, don't think this is the part for #19,(would have to be cut/trim) but maybe it will help lead you in the right direction?
