So, I stumbled on parts for the leg lamp back in April. Wound up getting the leg & shade, (which make up the bulk of the prop), for about $40, shipped.
There was a steep learning curve regarding exactly how high heels fit, (& - for reference - every thrift store pair I demolished on the way to getting one to fit had a strip o' steel running down the center of it), before I got that bit done. Then, to get the leg to light up in a uniform fashion, I wound up using a strip of LED rope light.
Anyway, a collage of the thing from the Instagram'd first pic of the leg to completion. Didn't take a ton of pictures of the build since I really did little more than research the destruction of footwear & wire up a couple lamps.
