Help finding clay...

Hello sculptors,
Need alittle help here.
Im in need of a very small amount of sulfur free clay.
About a half a pound should work.
Any secret suppliers out there that don't come up on google searches?
Im not a sculptor, so Im trying to avoid buying a large amount.
Price + shipping can get alittle steep.
I feel for you guys when a large sculpt is on your agenda.
Ive tried all the local places to no avail.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Robert

Nigel beauty supply sells two pound blocks of chavant for about 8 bucks. The store is in California. If it is too far away for you to drive, shipping may at least be a little cheaper for you.

Why is it hard to find clay in the Bay Area?
Why does it need to be sulfur free? So many people fear that sulfur inhibits curing of silicone. Just seal the sculpt with crystal clear, and you're good to go.

2lbs of Roma Plastilina costs about $10 at Dick Blick, or even Aaron Brothers/

Good luck.

Since you're in the Bay Area, you can get all manner of Chavant at Douglas and Sturgess in SF. Otherwise ship from any of the LA fx supply stores: Frends, Nigels, Motion Picture FX, Reynolds

Thank you.
Exactly what I was looking for.

Not something I can spray a sealer on.
Thanks though.

Thanks buddy.
Had no idea of Douglas and Sturgess.
Ive contacted them and it seems they carry a few items I'm in need of.
Heading out there next week.
Michael's has sulfer free oil clay.
My Michaels didn't have it.
First place I looked.
I was kind of shocked.
