Ghost is alive. Just between the cost of the CGI for giant furry wolves and giant scaly dragons, they're choosing to spend mostly on dragons. Glad they did wrap up the Nymeria story, though. Even if it was pretty sad.
Are we sure that was wrapped up? I'm hoping she shows up again. If not, that was a rather pointless, and expensive, scene to include.
Clunky writing with that "prince who was promised" line, even if I'm okay with the meaning being open ended. Overall a great episode for me, but man soes Baelish need to be a corpse.

I think the line felt off to me because Missandei just pops in with an "actually its..." And the idea of a prophecy having the word "or" in it is kind of funny. Tyrion undercuts the moment with a worthy quip though about it rolling off the tongue. You would think instead of a mistranslation of gender Missandei could have informed them that it really meant "heir"
No, all the books are not out yet. GRRM is notoriously slow when it comes to releasing the the books. Books 1-5 are available. There was talk of of Book 6 THE WINDS OF WINTER coming out this year, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen, and God only knows when the 7th and final book will come out.
