Re: Bandai 1/72 Millennium Falcon
While making my final tweaks, I found that this part was missing from the kit:
I think this is the same "A" shaped part from the Tamiya 1/12 Mclaren M23 which is used in various parts of the Falcon.
Traces of the part on the filming miniature:
It may have been better to recast K10, but I simply carved a similar thing out of a styrene sheet and placed it.
Also, upon this disscussion over on the Large scale Millennium Falcon Kit ID's thread...

... I decided to snip part K12 and transplanted L5 to where a similar part was missing, that I mentioned in this post:

L5 is based on a shorter part than the one that should have been there, but near enough.
Also, I found this decal was not indicated on the instructions.
I assumed that it is the same mark as decal No.145, so I placed it there.
I have finished the kit.
Took some photos under controlled lighting.
I shall be replacing the plywood base with something a little more decent, after I finalize a place for the long term display.
I thank everyone in this thread for your comments and discussions, as well as for sharing your works. I enjoyed the build very much.
