Wired up the LED eyes Zorg supplied, BRAVO Chris for a very well put together kit!

That's an awesome looking shelf!
Nice Chris! I’ve been criticized in the past for adding details that weren’t seen on screen. I don’t mind adding some finer details on a display prop like 2-1B. I’m looking forward to finishing him up and displaying him! Thanks for a beautiful and fun kit!
Finally got around to weathering up 2-1B's bright metallic finish, installed the left eye details, neck, and LEDs. Waiting for a few parts to arrive to finish the right eye details. Need to pick up some aluminum tape for the hose detail and lastly - Not sure if the neck ring is silver/aluminum or the light blue like the head?

Finished the right eye details - 23G hypodermic needle base and cut down cap
I'll pick up the aluminum HVAC tape tomorrow and se if I can cover the neck ring and finish it off and add the hose!

Very nice job - thanks for posting the details of your WIP. Mine is in progress but on hold until I can get back from extended holiday travel.
Can you tell/remind me what you did for those two 'ear' greeblie disks, as shown on the detailed left side image above? Where'd you get them?

Those pieces are from the V8 model and come w Zorg’s Kit!
Deep tint base water based paint, raw umber tint, and a little water. Use a cheap throw away brush to get it into the crevices and dry it off carefully to your desired weathering. He’s a medical droid so I went for a mild oxidated look vs. “dirty”.

Heh, it's been two months since I last looked through the kit so I've forgotten what's in there. I've since collected all the extra founds greeblies I'm going to need and am looking forward to getting this completed.Thanks!

I thought the LEDs were too bright and too white with the 9 volt so I swapped the battery box for 2 AAs and it's much better
