OMG!!! I DID IT!!! I FINALLY REALLY DID IT!! It was the third foam run. I adjusted the timing, and I used a $20 hand held mixer because I killed the vintage one I purchased just for this project. Wow. I'm so happy!

looks good and you can always make a cheap stand to hold the hand mixer lol.

Keep an eye on walmart or goodwill, sometimes they have cheap stand mixers.

This $20 hand mixer will do until I kill the motor. The foam is just a perfect consistency and very soft. And when it dies, I'll probably invest in another $20 hand mixer.

OMG. I did another foam run. She's perfect AGAIN! I'm going to have to fix the mold--it cracked a little on the edge, but whatever. It's only the edge and is really far from the actual sculpt. Man I can't wait until more foam arrives.

I have found out through the years that Paula Crist used the original molds for the foam latex.

Urko popped up at the NEC Memorabilia, so he's on that side of the pond. He may show up at Dragoncon, but that's up to Martin.

Hearing is ok, but impossible on a cell phone. I reminded my contacts to send me text only because Wondercon is already noisy enough as it is.
