Zabana´s Iron Man WIP - BOOTS FINISHED - Page 13 (NEW LEG PAGE 14)

Hi Zabana, just a quick question before i start pepping your amazing helmet, a couple of pieces overlap between pages, do we just have to print the .pdo as it is and then 're-attach' them after they've been printed?

So I downloaded the pep files, printed out the knuckles and palms... everything is printed out and flipped to the opposite hand except for the fingers. For some reason even with edge id and show flaps enabled, when I print the files all I am left with is the outline of the pep parts with the number id's... absolutely no lines to cut by.. No settings are changed, in fact when I print preview in pep designer 3 it shows me that everything is normal, but it doesnt print the outline. I even tried printing the hands again and they work just fine. I'm starting to give up hope on putting these together :( Anyone have a work around fix for this?

this is what I get when i try to print the fingers

Thinking maybe a setting was off I reloaded part of the hand and tried to print it

Apparently the finger files must be corrupted in some way as the rest of the glove prints fine :(

All fingers but the thumb are the same in both hands so no need to mirror them.
About you only can see numbers is because there is a lot of tabs so the numbers don´t let you see the lines, try again disabling the numbers ;)

Disabled the numbers tried to print and the only different thing that happened was all I got was a blank piece of paper printed. So I re-enabled the numbers and still got the same thing, just the numbers as an outline :\ no idea whats going on.

Try to use the preview window choice and mod parameters until you can prnt it fine, the files are ok if they are the same one I uploaded because I didn´t changed them.

They were designed in A4 but I switched to letter.. I wouldn't think that would be the problem, but I'll check that tomorrow and your suggestion and see what I come up with.. fingers crossed

So I booted up today re-arranged all the finger parts and it prints fine now :\ no idea what the problem was. But I am glad it is fixed :D

This happens occasionally with the Pep Programs... it is some kind of glitch in the program not the files. I usually try to restart the program and/or my computer and if that doesn't work I reinstall the program and that fixes it.

Yeah I started pulling my hair out because id gone though 6 pieces of card stock paper before i decided to pull that out and put regular paper back in to test everything out... hoping to have 1 single hand and the fingers together by Monday.

Zabana, I'm getting ready to work on my boots using your files and was wondering why this piece of the boot shows to cut it and rejoin @ 539 and 540? It doesn't make sense to me since there aren't any tabs to glue. I've worked on a number of files that are like this. Since this one is yours, I thought I'd ask. Instead of cutting on lines like this, I've been scoring and folding them instead.
Oops this is from robos boot file

So, did you solved the problem? :D

I just scored and folded. Didn't seem to make a difference on the pep. I did one robo boot, but am doing yours now so I can have a boot that articulates.... Very detailed...lots of teeny tabs, kind of like your glove/finger files. Glad you did these so everyone can use them--thanks!

Thanks indeed! ^^
