YT-2400 "Outrider" Question

Anyone ever tackle a 3 3/4 scale Outrider custom? The original Hasbro one was garbage in terms of accuracy. Very curious to see if any projects were attempted for this ship

Im guessing character Dash Rendar is canon because we can see the outrider in ANH SE. Wonder what ever he is up to now 30 years later..
