The Grinch's The Book of Who is one of my favorites. Here are screengrabs from the movie, and a few pics of a replica that I made for a client a few years ago.

I had forgotten all about that. I would love to see a replica of it.
^THAT'S^ understandably (I'd think) my current favorite.I also want to make the "Yeats" poetry book from "Equilibrium". I have the bookcover image, I just need to find the right sized book.
(& the thread even contains the info you seek) ^_^
Amazing! I would love to replicate it.. But i can't find a good photo of the cover!
A few years ago, i was writing with the creator of the Book, and he told me, that these pages you can see on the link, were the actual pages of the book.. the rest was empty...
So it would not bee that difficult i guess

I was just watching Practical Magic, and I was impressed by the Book of Shadows they have on there. Has anyone ever done up a version?

I love Wes Anderson movies and he always has highly detailed props that are specific to the characters in his movie. Royal Tenenbaums has an amazing collection of books:

There's a few threads here on that book. Nobody sells them though, the original artist still holds a copyright and produces them so they're a no go as far as runs are concerned.
Some people have made nice replicas for themselves though!
