Yep, I just heard that too on his latest audio rant. I'd think he'll be selling a lot more to fund his legal fund that will need to be in full force for the uphill battle he's going to be fighting for any kind of custody of his daughter not to mention the public relations he's going to begin fostering once the dust settles.
He just seems so delusional.

This is Hollyweird folks. If I told you 6 months ago that Chris Brown would be getting a standing ovation at the BET Awards, most would laugh. He beat the crap out of his girlfriend. But all is forgiven. The only thing the media loves more than tearing a celebrity down is the comeback story.
It is obvious that this chick was baiting him for who know how long. Everyone is capable of doing horrible things when pushed. Obviously he has a temper, bad mouth, etc. This woman exploited and played him like a dime store fiddle. His marriage was over for years and they led separate lives. Why they chose to not make it official sooner who knows. The guy is a human, that lives a public life. I am sure that there is a person twice as despicable as MG who lives down the street, but that's not as fun to talk about. For the record I dont condone his actions in anyway. I just clearly see that this was just a snapshot.
BTW I would estimate his net worth in the 500-800Mil range. Most people who own a GV need that sort of capitol for normal operating costs. A good chunk of his cash has come through producing and distribution.

Are you SURE he OWNS the GV? I know a lot of EXTREMELY rich people that own GIV's and GV's but they are in on them with about 4-5 other "investors" AND they charter them to others when they do not use them...Nick Cage was one of them.
Technically speaking an LLC owns it. Most corporate jets are owned by an LLC for liability reasons. They usually put in on a Carter Cert. for fleet discounts on fuel, maintenance and tax purposes. Additionally it is another layer of protection if there is an accident as a third party is managing it. I would have to make a call to proclaim 100%, but 99% his LLC owns it. You are correct that NC's G3 was on Avjets certificate charter certificate to offset the cost of ownership. They parked it in Sept of 08 and then sold. His LLC was the sole owner but it did do its fair amount of charter hours.

Don't know if this is true or not but this is why I don't make snap judgments on people based on what the media says.

I've been waiting to see if any of the people who have been blasting Mel since this thing came out were going to post about the tapes having been edited or that she has been caught in a bunch of lies. But of course this is the kind of thing where the origianl story is on page one and the retractions if any are buried on page one hundred.

And just HOW do you know for sure it's Mel's voice on the other side of the tape? Just playing devils advocate here. Her voice is CRYSTAL clear, the male voice is scratchy, garbled, and at times almost incoherent. For all we know the entire thing is a fabrication.
If she wanted to record her boyfriend and utilize it in a criminal case - at the very least she would have gotten law enforcement involved and they could have recorded them for admissable evidence in the courts. Instead we have tapes allegedly recorded by her allegedly of him and it's being released though a tabloid website.
This looks like a public relations attack and a money grab on her part.
This is a matter best left to the police, but I can gurantee you that there is no way those tapes will EVER be used in any sort of criminal case against Gibson.

It may be his voice, which I'm not entirely convinced of, but you can also take different pieces and splice them together so that you can make them say anything you want too. With the poor quality of the tapes, that makes it that much harder to be certain about the validity of anything said.
Why should he bother to deny them, most people are already convinced he said them, so no matter what he says, the are not going to believe him.

I personally like Mel Gibson, and it saddens me that he has obviously lost his way in the game of life. Really he should beg his first wife for forgivness and go back to his family.
