Hi everybody,
first of all I want to thank everybody here on this board that is so talented and gifted in creating these amazing Pep-Files and 3D models and reference pictures... you are all so great in sharing these with the community.

I have been looking around a bit over the past few months and playing with the idea of building myself an Iron Man Suit... so here I go.
I started out by taking a close look at Stealths Video Tutorials on Youtube and also his site on Facebook. Special Thanks to DancinFool and Sharkhead and JUICE aka StageFiveDrift whose names I copied from Stealths tutorials and whose models I will be using. Just want to give credit to the ppl who deserve it. I am on a tight schedule at the moment, as I want to have my suit ready by Jan. 20th. But I am lucky to have a bit of spare time on my side at the moment and hope I can progress through this as fast as possible.

Here are some pics of my first attempt of an Iron Man Mk III Pep helmet.

I will post the progress of my project here as well as on my Facebook Page I just created for this purpose. The Fb-Page will be held in English and German, as I have many German speaking friends, that I am starting to infect with the virus :lol
Please feel free to take a look and maybe like the Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/ArmysurfersModelAndSuitbuilding

Make sure you add the reinforcement bars before you apply resin. Also the sides of your helm already look crooked, this will increase when you add resin and fibre glass, I suggest you add some thicker card stock to these sections, extra time taken on the pep model will save you days of bondo/filler and sanding later. Good luck

Also strengthen the centre of the helm that slots between the tops of the face mask, this has a tendency to warp.

Thanks for the advice. Will be sure to work nice and slowly on my new helmet.

The pics are from the first try, and I consider it a very valuable lesson and learning process.

As soon as I have the next one done, I will post more pics.

Thanks again

Helmet is looking good, but you have the area around the ears built wrong. It should not stick out like that but be set in,
