Yet another foam Iron Man...

I've been reading through the foam build threads and decided to have a go at it, I have knives, hot glue gun etc, but I'm stuck on the foam itself.
I ordered a roll from ebay just to see what I got really, and to test the concepts.
It's a 5mm roll, closed cell foam, VERY flexible, it'll never hold a shape on it's own, but looks good for detailing.
The stuff I've seen on a couple of threads is OZARK camping pads from walmart, unfortunately I'm in th UK and can't get those.
I've found some 10mm pads on ebay now, but I'm not sure how to tell if they will be stiffer?
So far I'm assuming the mass will b an indicator, I found two, one is 25Kg per cubic meter, the other is 50. So I'm thinking get the 50. Does anyone know the density of the Ozark ones? I can't find anything.
Or is there another foam that would be good for the main structure and use the 5mm as cover/detail? Searchign through the forums hasn't lead me to a particular foam that is best, and available to me.

Build wise, the plan is use pep file as a guide, I've used pep before and know my way around it. Then trim/add to fit.

Any advice would be awesome guys! Thanks!
