Hi everyone,
first I wanna say hello I´m new here and glad I finally could register.
I´d have a request. I own a MR Y-Wing which I deconstructed to paint it properly. So far, I recreated the piping to depict the Y-Wing shown at www.halstensen.com . I´m thinking of removing it again though, and recreate the Y-Wing with the TIE kill mark, should I be able to get enough reference on this one. I couldn´t find one pic though showing the bottom of this model, so I have no idea what the piping looks like in those areas.
I´ve got the FM Y-Wing kit, and the piping on the upper side of the fuselage matches this particular Y-Wing very well. So I guess it might be a good reference to go after.
I´d be very grateful though if anyone had more reference pics of this model, particularily the bottom, and would be willing to share it with me. I do have a scan of a book page showing this Y, and the two pics as bigger scans as well. And a screencap from the trench run, with this Y in the foreground.
