Hi, I really like the setup you have done with your eyes, with a see through lens. I question about the effect this will have on your eyes over longer periods of wearing the helmet.

With the LED's being reflected, there isn't much light coming back into your eyes, but can you comment on if your vision if effected by a system like you have done, and does/would it potentially give headaches from the increased light.

Thanks!

Haven't worn it for long periods, or actually wired the eyes in permanently yet. The helmet will be wireless, so I'll probably only power the eyes on for short periods so that it doesn't run the batteries flat.

Nice. Really like the idea of keeping the leg sections separate. Looking forward to seeing how you cover the back of the knees and inside of the elbows, as the best I can come up with is either rubber builder's buckets, or making something from scratch from rubber.

It's looking mighty fine James!! Are you planning on attending any conventions soon? MCM may for instance? :)

Here's the latest video about fitting the wireless link inside the helmet, and at last wiring in the light up eyes:

Re: XRobots Iron Man: Wireless Helmet VIDEO - Page 22

Hi James! This is absolutely birlliant! I wish I had half of your skills to fill my suite with all this amazing electronic and mechanic stuff :D

I don't want to sound rude or misrespectful but you should take a bit more care about the look and proportions of your suite :)

You're putting a lot of efforts in it, so it would be a shame not to have a badass looking suite :)

'Cannot wait for the next update ;)

Re: XRobots Iron Man: Powering up the Unibeam! - Page 22

Re: XRobots Iron Man: Powering up the Unibeam! - Page 22

Very bright, but I think you can go further and fill it with LASERS!

I think this is my favorite suit at the moment.
