WWF Winged Eagle title belt

Here's something you don't see ever on these boards... A replica title belt from the pro wrestling world! Actually, the last one I saw was an IC belt I posted a couple of years ago.

I just picked up the Winged Eagle belt from back around the time of Bret Hart's run as champ. I have always loved this thing and was so happy to find they were finally offering these up for sale. Now if I could only find a replica of the old AWA/WCCW unified title Lawler used to have...

When I was a kid, I wanted one of these so badly... I always had the toy ones, but when they finally started releasing the metal versions, I had stopped watching the shows.

How's the weight of the belt? Is this one of the officially licensed versions? It's rare to see anything with "WWF" still on it.

I've been a WWF/WWE wrestling fan ever since I can remember. Undertaker is one of my first memories I have, standing in front of a coffin with Paul Bearer doing his horrible "scary" voice.

When WCW starting releasing their replica belts, I made a vow then that if WWF ever released one I had to own it....and I do! I got one from the "Attitude" years. Same one that Stone Cold, The Rock, Triple H (back in DX days), Mick Foley, etc. used to battle for. It says "WWF" on it because, well, I got it when they were still WWF but I think they are able to do it now for the legendary series they offer on these belts.

They are all molded off of originals (or so they claim) and these things are HUGE. Makes me realize how big these guys really are!! The weight is about what I personally would think it would be too.....well, maybe a little lighter. But definitely a realistic feeling, IMO.

If you haven't, check out this site below....

Or do a search for "J-Mar" or "Joe Marshall". This is the guy who actually makes all the REAL belts for wrestling. Some really cool pictures are out there.

EDIT---D'OH! I just realized I made a mistake....it's Reggie Parks that made a lot of THE actual belts. Here's one of the sites :)

Again, great belt!! I've always considered picking this one up too :)

Big gold belt? Is that Flair's NWA, then WCW and now WWE title?
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Thats right. The belt of the Nature Boy.

Nice belt. That and the IC of the late 80s early 90s are my favorite. I absolutely hate the belts that they have now. The only one that looks half way descent is the World Heavyweight title, which is "old school."

I also like the belt that Hogan won from the Sheik. It was a huge round center plate and name tags of the past winners around the strap.

Damn....brings back memories of being young, innocent, and under the wings of my parents. Oh childhood, how I miss thee :p

I have that IC title, which is my second favorite belt out there...

Anybody remember the Mulkey Brothers? They were jobbers that would get their cans kicked on a regular basis by the superstars. One time they were wrestling someone (the name escapes me) but something went wrong and the match had to be thrown to them, so for one glorious week, they were champions.

I bring it up because they were pretty small guys, and it was hilarious to see them running around on the different shows that week with these great big belts. When they would come out to the ring, they couldn't even wear them without them falling down to their ankles. :lol

I guess while I'm at it I will throw a photo of the last belt I have up here to complete the set. This is the old WCW US Title belt. The "leather" on this belt is definitely no where near as nice as the newer belt replicas as it feels and looks kinda plastic like.

Ah the U.S. title...the Dean Malenko belt....too bad he got hurt...he had by far one of the coolest finishing moves in wrestling in my opinion.

Some great belts there.I love the old IC belt and the current WWE heavyweight belt.
And of course, being a HUGE Stone Cold fan,the good ole smoking skull belt!
I know this is a little off topic but as rasslin threads so rarely come around I never get to show this anywhere to anyone who might appreciate it:

This is the DVD of "The Condemned" that Steve Austin rammed into Santino Marella's mouth on a Monday Night Raw last November after his critique of the film.Still has Santino's teeth marks on the spine!:lol
And that's the bottom line......

i really love these replica belts. i think my favorite would be the one after the winged eagle belt. i think it is the "attitude" belt. i owned one once, but sold it. i think i am going to have to track it down again!
