Would it be possible to organize a run of Narnia 1:1 scale gifts?

I'm not sure how many people would want one but I sure would. I have Peters sword but I really think that it would be awesome to have Susan's and Lucy's presents as well. The shield would be a bit much in my opinion (too big and too expensive) but the bow, horn, vial and dagger would be nice. Maybe if we can get enough people interested some of the more experienced prop makers here could arrange a run for us?

I would love to see someone try it. MR originally said they were looking into the possibilities but nothing seems to have come of that. Definitely interested.

I was actually wanting to do Susan's horn for my daughter. I'd love to help if I could. :)

I've been absolutely dumbfounded as to why there aren't more 1:1 replicas out there for Narnia. I'm absolutely shocked.

I've been VERY interested in other 1:1 scale props out there and would love to be in the loop on any Narnia prop happenings. I don't have Peter's sword, but it's a future purchase. I more want to see other items out there. The sword is cool and all, but I'd be up for other stuff. Peter wasn't my favorite character.

I think Disney's done a lousy job marketing more Narnia pieces. There's hardly any really great Aslan pieces out there either!

I'd love to have Peter's shield done (prob too costly), or even his sword belt or scabbard or at the very least the lion belt buckle on his shield, or Susan's horn as well. Lucy's gifts are probably the most economical to reproduce in 1:1 scale though.

The Noble collection is releasing Susan's horn this January. Officially the horn from the Caspian film, it looks to have been done quite well from what the prototypes are showing.

As for the shield, there are extremely cheap poorly made knock offs on eBay, not worth getting. Definitely will need to wait for a more professionally copy to be out on the market. I as well would get anything that is produced and am disappointed by no replica company taking on the charge for this.

Disney was very hot for this franchise until Eisner left. At that time with the emphasis on animation being placed as well a heavy schedule of different Disney franchises, the thought is that the market is saturated. So Narnia has taken a huge back seat to the rest of the franchises and still faces the possibility of being shut down outright. An in depth look at what happened / is happening can be accessed here:

Actually, I think the mentality of what caused the failings of the second film release has much more to do with marketing than what was cited. The first film was specifically hyped to an extreme within churches and well received. A huge part of the initial ticket sales was really in part to the masses pulled in through that campaign. A very poorly second effort was made with the second film and THAT was really the downfall. I believe there truly is a market and want by consumers for films like this, but Disney does to seriously look at HOW they market the film as well.

I didn't know about Noble making susan's horn. I just checked it out and it looks good. I'll definitely pick one up.

I don't know why Disney is so iffy about making the rest of the movies. Dawn Treader has already been delayed a few times from what I understand. These were some of my favorite books as a kid and even more so as an adult. I'm sure it's the same for many others out there.
