Ok guys - lets say excluding anything by RUBIES - what is the worst licensed prop replica you can remember ever seeing?

probably anything by master replicas if memory serves me right.

ill never buy there stuff again.

sideshow makes them look like amatures

Usually not too impressed with the NECA stuff. Although there prices are fairly low, i tend to think the quality leaves a bit to desired. I was also dissapointed with the DC Direct Holy Shotgun from Constantine. For the price they retailed, it could have been so much more, and secured to a base?????COME ON!!!!!

The licensed Vincent necklace from 'Ergo Proxy' looks really crap, even for the 10 bucks they cost, so inaccurate.

Got to be careful here because I have friends that did like this one... And I respect their opinions and taste immensly.

But I was really disappointed with the Factory X Hessian Sword from Sleepy Hollow.

i second that, it felt kinda cheap, but i do like having one

I've never seen one in person, but the very thought of the peg leg/rifle from Planet Terror makes me cringe! (Neca made that too I think?) I mean... HALF a weapon?!?
:sick

(Yes, I realize the irony of the fact that I'm complaining about half a weapon when I myself am fond of making cutaway sabers... ):lol

What made me think of it was that I saw an Illusive Concepts Chewbacca bust... made me sad because they obviously put a lot of work into it, but it just looks awful :(

I'm not sure if it was Illusive Concepts or not... and I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings... but that full-size Alien that was made years ago... my god, when you know what it's SUPPOSED to look like.... yuck.

Amen to that Alan - that thing was brutal.

Wel, that had my vote as well. Though to be fair, once yoyu removed it from the base and gave it a re-paint w/weathering, it comes out pretty good. Plus, with some work, you can still reuse the base (but not the "hands". And considering that at one time you could pick these up for next to nothing, in the end it wasn't a bad piece. But you've got to WANT to put the work into it.

I've seen lots of bad IC Chewies, and hold that mine is the best I've ever seen. It actually looks like Chewie!

that looks better than the one I was seeing pics of - the one I saw looked like he had a handlebar mustache, LOL
