Working with RD-407 latex for the first time, a couple questions

Hey guys,

I am making a TMNT costume this year and have gotten a lot of good idea and and methods for making the costume here. I am going to paint on the latex this afternoon and have a couple questions for you. I purchased 1 gallon of RD-407.

1. Can you squirt acrylic paint into the latex and mix it around as a way to dye it before painting it on?
2. Is there any way to thin out the latex? I fear 1 gallon it not enough for my entire costume (shell, body and head)

Feel free to delete this post. 1 gallon was plenty for my entire costume and yes you can squirt acrylic paint into the latex (at least I did not have any problems with it.
