Working SciFi Headsets?

My new company uses voip cisco phones for remote employees (me). I need a headset to plug into my laptop to make and receive calls. Does anybody know of any current working headsets that look anything like the Racal from Aliens and SW?
Actually, if this is too much to ask for, does anyone know of any headsets that are similar to any scifi movies?

Modern-day common PC headsets from Plantronics lended parts to the headset that Obi-Wan and Anakin wore in cockpit of their Jedi fighters in AOTC and ROTS.
The big problem, though is that the headsets in the movies were heavily modified and had metal parts that are not easy to build unless you have access to a metal shop. I made mine from resin and styrene, which I painted.
My WIP thread here. Tutorial pics and blueprints.
I'm sorry, I finished only one and gave it away and did not take any pictures of it.
I have several headsets left (unknown if they work or not) and a silicone mold for one of the parts if you are interested.

I have spotted the mobile phone version of the headset (M114) in several TV shows, e.g Alias.

So my SpatCave Racal set is on the truck for delivery:) http://www.therpf.com/f9/state-spatcave-2013-a-177280/
I am going to try to convert it to work with my cell phone by doubling up the wire of a cheap mic/earbud set and running the mic wire down the boom.

I will post progress pics.
