So I've entered 3 different contests (nothing big just silly bars and what not), but I've always been beaten by something stupid (I mean "boobs" aren't that stupid, but I don't feel showing them should be an auto win...) This was at one of the bars Thurs night of San Diego Comicon.
I think what really helped is I was out on the dance floor getting down the whole night. There were a few pretty good costumes. And seriously out of all of them (like 12), to have a generic stormtrooper (who showed up like 20 min before the "judging") be the other finalist was a little odd. but as soon as the DJ was like "Alright how about we decide this with a dance off!" I KNEW I had won ;P
I know it looks like I won $1000 cash, but I was able to convince my wife it was actually only SDCC gift certificates, so we had to spend it all there ;P
