Now, this is def. In my Top Favorite Coats!!!!! Wested Did a WONDERFUL job creating this jacket. I know their coats aren't "100%" accurate but they are for the most part.... Just the back part of the coat at the sides but still.... i don't mind that slight difference! lol.. The leather is Very comfy and it just feels great to wear.. Now, when i recieved this coat it was more of a brown color. I took it upon myself to weather it and give it the look that only Wolverine could pull off lol.. I dyed it a very dark brown/black and removed the left arm strip at the top afterwards. People recognize this coat everywhere i go! Especially since origins came out! The best part about it, is that people believe that ive actually been through some rough times because of the weathering.. they actually think its Naturally weathered lol.. I just let them Believe it ;)

Nice jacket bub! :thumbsup

Did you just dye it to get the weathered look, or did you do something else?

I got the Origins jacket for Christmas. Put it on the first time, moved my arms, and rip went the lining. I sent it back for a size bigger. I had ordered a medium because the dimensions on their site matched the dimensions of the Indy jackey I have, but it was a little too snug in the shoulders. It should be here any day now. I can't wait.

Yeah, i love this coat. As for the weathering, i took some leather dye (if you give me till tomorrow i'll find it and let you know exactly what kind and color) and Dyed it all over really good. I even did a VERY light coat on the Yellow/orange stripes. Then i tood a sharp knife and used a light to medium pressure and dragged it across the stripes to rough them up quite a bit (but you don't want to go as far as tearing them up) YOu just want to knock that initial shine off them and give them a more dull look about them. Do the same for the waist stripes. I also took the knife and kinda scraped it along the whole coat (just barely) to give it kinda a "Road look" to it. After that i just took a pair of plyers and CAREFULLY ripped off the top stripe on the left arm (make sure you do this AFTER you dye the coat as it will leave a lighter color "shadow" after you remove the stripe that still gives it the appearance that its still there and nobody will really notice until they take a good look ) As i said, BE CAREFUL you don't really want to rip the seam where the coat is put together. I did on mine just a little bit but was able to keep it from tearing any more so its just barely tore. I don't mind it that way cause hey, "Im making it look battle worn right? " lol.. Thats pretty much it as far as i can think of..
