Last year I made a Shepard armor for a friend and he won the first place at a local convention. So this year we are trying to make it a group with more characters. I decided to go for the most difficult one and am currently working on a Urdnot Wrex.
First started by making a skull in fiberglass.
Then I designed and 3D printed some custom sockets for the eyes. I used ping pong ball as the eyes. This is the file for the sockets:

Then I added some servos and an Arduino Nano to control them to rotate to random positions and blink at random times.
The upper part of the head is polyurethane foam.
I sculpted the face in Monster Clay, made the mold and casted it in silicone.
So far the head is ready and soon will begin to work on the body armor.
Inside the head, there is a car dashcam to see outside. I can see upfront in a 2.5in screen. There are also computer fans for ventilation. All the system runs on a powerbank. The mouth can open and is connected to my jaw so it moves when I talk.

I was planning on making a similar under-skeleton for my Wrex build but couldn't make it work. I may have to pick your brain about how you made this. Looking forward to seeing your armour
