Some of you may remember seeing this pic a while back.
While I was waiting for certain equipment I decided to try my hand in engineering this beast. I got as far as getting the cosmetic stuff done, but I could not figure out how to get it to extend and retract like in the show. Well today I decided to revisit this.
The difference between the 2, is the second has been designed to be made, not just look correct. This is a static length prop, mostly because I can not figure out how to build the mechanism in the space available. That being said, I still have a few other things to figure out. Namely the trigger and how to make up the various pins that stick out all over the place.
I should be starting the build real soon.
