Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Anybody have leads on the BEST foil paper to use with an inkjet printer for the golden tickets?
My brother with Downs Syndrome is part of a local theater that puts on plays utilizing handicap children.
It is a great production company that uses this outlet to build the children's confidence and really gets many of them to open up socially.
They are putting on Willy Wonka and my brother just found out he is going to be Charlie.
I am more than elated, so I want to do something for the production. I volunteered to make 6 Wonka bars for the play along with golden tickets.
I made the bars already but am now needing to make the tickets. I plan to let each kid keep one bar and one ticket when they are done, after all the hard work they will have put into learning lines and showing us a good time, it will be the least I can do :)

Let me know if you have suggestions on the best paper to use.

Maybe! :lol:D

Seriously - I'm really interested in that Willy Wonka stuff and some day you will get it all from me. But there is so much BTTF stuff to do yet, so all the other movies have to wait. :cool

:CRACKS WHIP ROLAND: I need me some Roland wonka paper props ;-)

Still too many BTTF props to do. Plus my job. I don't even come to finish my BTTF website. I definitely need a time machine. :cry

Thanks for the Wonka bar picture, I will have a go at making a bar soon

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if there are any links for Willy Wonka props that still work?
Am thinking a few of these will be a hit on my current project (daughters wardrobe door collage). :)
Thought it was about time I removed all the fairy decals, since she's nearly 10 now LOL
Props for all the talent I see in here too (see what I did there.......)
Have a great day all!

The gold paper I see is just one sided. Looks nice, but I would like it gold on the back too.

Any current links for 2 sided gold foil paper ?

Buy gold wrapping paper and spray glue the two sides together.

On hi-res scans of the screen used tickets you can clearly see, that this is exactly the way they made the originals. :)

Hahaha. That's cool. I always wondered about that. It also gives the ticket a little bit more sturdiness to it.

Of course, it's possible that the second layer that you can see on the scans is just a clear protective film on the golden foil. Or maybe they printed the text on a clear sticker and stuck it on a golden foil. But the ticket definitely has two layers. :)
