I've never seen him give a bad performance, he was truly one of the best actors of our time.

After seeing that movie, a buddy and me tried to build one. We found an old abandoned gas tank out in a field. One of those big kind that they used to fill up tractors and such. Somehow, we got it off its base and into the back of a pick up truck. His grandpa was a farmer and had one of those welder's torches. The thing had been empty for years so there were no gas fumes or anything in it. We cut a big hole in it and spent a couple of days washing it out. We then filled it with water from the hose and dumped a few boxes of ice cream salt into it. We would get into it hoping to have some kind of experience like the movie.....Didn't really work very well. LOL!

And to be clear, I don't do drugs anymore. That was the 80s.

Way more to the tanks than salt water, the temp is body temp, like going back into the womb, Zero G’s on the body, Great for a number of things.

Plus he got to be bodycast by Craig Reardon and the legend Dick Smith for that Amazing bodysuit he wore in it..
Such an Underrated movie..
If you haven't seen it..Its a must.
