Will there ever be another LICENSED, accurate , quality Vader helmet?

I'm kinda surprised no ones done it with the idea of creating movie accurate 8-12 year old kids costumes. That's a market that has been never really tapped into...star wars mini replicas for the vertically challenged. Aka roman vintage height. I would call it Star Wars the vintage height collection.

The problem there is that kids aren't exactly scaled-down adults. Their heads are proportionally bigger than adults, and their general body shape isn't just a little adult. So a "scaled down, but accurate" Vader costume would have a helmet that's too small for the kid inside. Or, the proportions would look weird and the huge helmet would make people think your kid was Rick Moranis. That's why you can't take one of those 3 foot-tall Vader or Stormtrooper figures and use the armor on your 3 foot child.

Here's my 11 year old's (at the time)scaled down Darth Vader outfit. I built the helmet from scratch as a clay sculpt, then cast it. The chest and shin armour I just made some scaled down templates I drew up and either built from foam or pepakura/fibreglass. I think the proportions look pretty close:

And about a scaled down Vader helmet for less than Prowse-sized frames, I'm working on that too. That helmet is probably about 85-ish percent full scale and has taken two years to sculpt. It's an ANH version. I'm cleaning up the master cast for it at the moment. Here's that sculpt:

I guess for me, without a licensed one which reflects the raw wonkiness and finish of the ANH helmet, I've decided to do it myself.

Very impressive! That is the best looking kid sized Vader I have seen.
