Interest 2009 Trek metal body communicator

I’ll gladly draw it up in Fusion if someone would work on CNC’ing one. I do have a body that was milled by hand but definitely not something easy to do.

I’d like some decent measurements though.

I couldn't find measurements from a real one, so I used the toy as a guide, as well as some pics of a screen used one.

I saw a screen-used version of this communicator, while taking the Paramount lot tour, a couple of years ago.

It looked smaller than I expected (as seems to be the case with most screen-used props).

To my eye, the communicator appeared to be not any bigger than the classic TOS comm.

Here are the dimensions from the Prop Store: 3 ½" x 2" x ½" (9 cm x 5 cm x 1 cm).

So the width is identical from the Propstore measurements to the toy, but quite a bit shorter.

I know someone who owned one at time....Im checking to see if he still has it. If he does...maybe he would provide some pics. Knowing him, he sold it already.
