I do not know anything first hand but reading recent threads seem like he no longer communicates. Last time I checked, his website was still active but a ol of items need price quotes.

I needed an acrylic cover made last year and I just didn't want to be caught up in that drama so I went elsewhere.

When I was in the process of searching a manifacturer for nice display cases, I talked to him about, he told me that he quit because the dust covers were too keen to breakage. He was loosing money on those.
So I managed to have them built locally with great success and I developed with the guys that helped me, a packaging which prevents breacking on long journeys, in case of shipping abroad!
