Who makes the best E-11 Blaster?

As title.

I'm in the market for one and, due to the new laws, can't import into the UK. So, it's got to be a UK manufacturer. :)

What style do you want?

John (board member stormtrooper) has a fantastic ESB stunt E-11 cast from an original available (I think he still does them) he is based in Northern Ireland so no problems shipping to mainland UK.

If you are looking to make one from real parts (British Sterling machine gun, Hengstler counter, scope etc ) I might be able to sort you out for most of them to make an ANH version I am also UK based. Just if you are interested in using real parts :)

Cheers Chris.

Are you looking for a real Sterling or a replica made from resin parts ? I can supply the latter :)

Pics/info?

If resin, I need something sturdy and with some reasonable weight.

NOT needing for trooping.

Cheers :)

Just wondering what this new law is regarding imports ?
I know you cant import firearms but never heard this law against importing replicas.
You'll find it difficult i should imagine to find a ready built up E11 made from a real sterling. plenty of resin copies about though.
If you fancy building your own i know a UK source for deactivated sterlings or a cheaper option would be to modify an MR.

Here's my real Sterling ANH E-11, made by board member wtac (also UK based). M38 A-2 scope, real Hengstler counter and Saberfreak T-track. I opted for a smooth finish instead of the crinkled one (IIRC, Sterling Mk III or IV was a smoothie), so wtac stripped the paint off the gun and gave it a chemical weathering to give it the impression of a used but well maintained blaster. I'm extremely pleased with it. :)

Many members here and with the 501st have my resin cast trooper rifle and have said it is the best resin cast replica available on the market but I am here in the USA....It weights in at 3 lbs...has a brass scope rail and trigger guard, aluminum cylinders with steel end caps on top of the clip housing with an alumnium cylinder mount. It is assembled and painted to look new... The weathering has to be done by the buyer to suit there taste.

I havent a got a decent pic of a ANH ,just some fuzzy ones with my mobile ,but heres a ROTJ i built for a UKG member thats of the same quality.its resin and aluminium parts around a PVC receiver /barrel ,I did this one for £140 but a ANH would be cheaper as less fabricating is involved :) pm or mail me at steverogers@blueyonder.co.uk for more pics and details
