My dream Vader helmet is the GH with the amber lenses that sold last month in the Junkyard. My search would be over.

From the mounting screws on the top of the faceplate, its obviously a DP Deluxe recast, but the mold must have warped to cause the neck flair.

Try www.portumac.com. He's got an ROTJ helmet (non-reveal) made from a DP Deluxe cast with a lengthened dome, looks waaaaaay better than the one in the above pic.

It's been said befor but yes DP DLX recast the padding looks like a Portumac/ northerglass helmet.
Maybe befor they fixed the warp and early helmet from there long run on ebay befor mod's where made and they parted ways.

That picture is of the korbanth ebay ROTJ helmet. If i am not mistaken, If anything there helmets maybe made the same.

The top mounting ring looks identical to my DP deluxe recast that Cking made.

The only thing that is off about that is the actual ring height. Mine is not as tall as that one, but the overall appearance is identical.

Or could be because yours may be a copy of a low numbered DP DLX and this one in the auction is from a high numbered one...

This is made of "hand laid fiberglass". And painted with auto paint.

Is it a good deal for $325.00????

That was mine too. Just finished mine up. Can't wait to show off the pics.

$325 is not a bad price for that.
