Who made this 7 Faces of Dr Lao latex snake mask/puppet?

I am trying to identify the origin of this mask/puppet. I got it in a trade many years ago from someone else who got it in a trade and he didn't know the origin.

This Snake Puppet from "7 Faces of Dr. Lao" was made by Wah Chang of Projects Unlimited (an effects company that also made creatures for TV's "Outer Limits"). Side note: The stop-motion-puppet version of this hand-puppet was animated by Jim Danforth who was Wah Chang's partner at Projects Unlimited.

Yes, but is the one I am holding an original prop or is it a replica? And if a replica, who made the replica?

It's a replica from the original movie mold. Great get!

How do you know it's from the original mold?

The latex is in pretty bad shape at this point. I wish I had foam filled it years ago.

It looks very similar to a casting that Forry had...

But come to think f it, I do remember that FX artist David Ayres sculpted his own version as well.

Can you post a side angle of the piece as well? That may help ID it...
